Chauntay got her start at Paul Mitchell the school of  Sacramento, CA in 2014.  She obtained a cosmetology license with honors and began her career in the beauty industry. She made waves in the natural hair community in 2017 when she went through a natural hair journey of her own. She was invited to many hair shows where she spoke on panels about hair care and owning your natural hair journey. During this time Chauntay launched her first business, Beauty Hustle Hair co. She made luxury custom wigs for clients all over the United States. It wasn't until 2019 when she relocated to Virginia, she decided she wanted something more. Bare Bikini and Brow Bar was established with Chauntay being the sole owner and operator. One year later, She had built a clientele over 600 and was ready to expand. She opened her first store front location in Newport News, VA March 2021 in the middle of a pandemic. She now has a full staff and her salon accommodates over 2,000 women and men in the community. Over the years she has inspired Millions via her social media platforms, thousands at live speaking events, and hundreds with her one on one coaching calls. Her passion is educating the masses, and she has done so by also offering one on one, in person trainings for waxing.
